Whatever may be your charisma, after almost seven months of deportation, Imran Khan's former special confidant Jahangir Khan Tareen has returned home. His opponents and opponents in the PTI, who used to criticize him in open and subdued words, are now sitting with their mouths shut. The biggest tragedy of Jahangir Tareen is that he was politically isolated, he works hard and he worked day and night to organize Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), organize it and take it to the houses of power.

Jahangir Tareen, who has been my friend since college, has been working on the idea that instead of wasting time on the traditional fiber medicine of politicians, he should focus on his work. Khan Sahib had also entrusted them with the responsibility of bringing good people to justice. The women and men who spoke Bhanta Bhanta dialects gathered in this party whose alliance was not a vision but only power. With less than two years of hard work and high political strategy, Jahangir Tareen has established independent justice as the third largest political party in the country. During all this struggle, Tareen Sahib forgot a basic principle according to which keep your friends close but keep a close eye on your enemies and envious ones. As soon as he saw it, Tarin Sahib's critics started criticizing him with long tongues. The Prime Minister did not speak out against his former right-hand man but said that he would not give up the sugar mafia. Who was Sama Fiya whom Khan Sahib was not ready to forgive, it seems that now this secret will remain a secret.

There is an established principle in politics that the eyes of the envious should be turned away from evil. Tareen's method was that he would consult in every matter but he would do what he considered to be right and in favor of the party. Perhaps the ugly fact that there is no shortage of vested interests in politics has disappeared from their view. Hypocrisy and double standards are considered politics. Tareen Sahib also angered some of his close associates for the sake of Imran Khan. Shah Mehmood Qureshi was a personal friend of Jahangir Tareen before he entered politics, but when he lost the Punjab Assembly seat in the 2018 general elections, the accusation was leveled at Tareen that he did not want Qureshi. He became the Chief Minister of Punjab, so he invested crores of rupees to give Qarishi a provincial seat in every valley. The real story can be told by Qureshi himself, how the well-known and active politicians of South Punjab were defeated by a relatively young candidate, but the whole wreckage of this defeat fell on Jahangir Tareen. Many other leaders of the central leadership of PTI were also engaged in their own affairs but due to the strong leadership of Khan Sahib, such an atmosphere could not be created.

The next few months will be a challenge for a just government. On the one hand, the opposition is trying to overthrow the government, on the other hand, governance issues are deteriorating. Inflation, food shortages, political infighting are on the rise. The bottom line is that unless the rulers deliver and the problems of the people are solved, it will be impossible to run the business of the state, but Khan's team is very weak in terms of delivery. Cursing the opposition all the time cannot be a substitute for good governance. Jahangir Tareen has done a lot of service to the party but he cannot change the culture of a few individuals who unfortunately believe in confrontation rather than good performance. Khan Sahib needs a sincere and capable team more than a culture of self-sacrifice. Every word of Shahzad Akbar, the Prime Minister's Adviser on Accountability, was broken by insulting Jahangir Tareen. Now they should be asked to provide evidence of the allegations you have made, otherwise they should dismiss people whose job is nothing but to tarnish the political atmosphere. Similarly, everyone knows that Azam Khan, the Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, and Tareen Sahib are not on the same page. This confrontation only harms Khan Sahib and his government. It is time to put an end to this kind of tussle and animosity so that at least the friends of PTI can nurture the policies of Imran Khan's government.
